Yesterday, I took an IELTS mock test, but I skipped Writing Task 2 because I wasn’t prepared for it. Although I didn’t complete the full test, I believe that taking regular practice exams is an essential part of my preparation. Reading English novels, like It Ends with Us, has also become an enjoyable way to enrich my vocabulary.

Based on ChatGPT’s suggestion, I’ve decided to take my first official IELTS exam on June 21. This will not only help me assess my current level but also give me valuable experience in a real exam environment. Recently, I’ve had several conversations with AI, which have helped boost my confidence in English. I plan to continue this approach and document my progress here.

Today’s Plan

  • Review my mock test paper: Summarize my strengths and weaknesses to target areas that need improvement.
  • Book the IELTS test: Take the first step towards my exam goal.
  • Work on grammar challenges: Focus on articles, plurals, number recognition, and linking words, as these are the areas I find most difficult.
  • Read an English novel: Continue reading It Ends with Us to build vocabulary and enjoy the process.
  • Avoid wasting time: Stay focused and productive throughout the day.
  • Reflect on language barriers: Pay attention to what I can’t yet express clearly and find ways to improve.
  • Learn from past conversations: Review my previous conversation records to identify mistakes and areas for growth.

Personal Reflection:
I feel that posting my daily plan here helps keep me accountable and allows me to track my progress over time. The journey to mastering English and achieving my target IELTS score is challenging, but every step, no matter how small, counts.
